The event, which took place at the Cap Draa training grounds in the Tan Tan region, was attended by high-ranking Moroccan military officials, including Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid and Major General Mohammed Gadih. The American delegation included General Dagvin Anderson, Commander of U.S. Africa Command, and Congressman Ronny Jackson. The new helicopters are part of a wider program to upgrade the Royal Armed Forces, in line with the vision of His Majesty the King. The acquisition underscores the strong strategic partnership between Morocco and the United States in the areas of security and defense, with the two countries cooperating closely on joint military exercises, such as the recently concluded African Lion exercise, now in its 22nd edition.
