Several media outlets are reporting that FC Barcelona may have decided not to play a friendly match in Morocco as part of its pre-season preparations. Some of those reports have linked the move to what they describe as a “context of uncertainty” following the events in Ceuta at the end of July.

The information, however, must be treated with caution. At the time of publication, FC Barcelona has issued no official statement confirming that a match in Morocco was cancelled because of the Ceuta crisis.
