Moroccans abroad: online police-record applications reportedly set for November 9

Moroccans living abroad may soon have a more convenient way to request their fiche anthropométrique, a Moroccan police-record extract. Yabiladi reports that an announcement posted by Morocco’s embassy in Mali on November 5 sets November 9, 2026, as the opening date for an online application service through epolice.ma.

According to H24info, applicants would verify their identity and pay the relevant fees electronically, then collect the document in person from the competent Moroccan diplomatic or consular office. The reported arrangement therefore combines remote application with physical collection. 

For someone preparing paperwork overseas, that could reduce the need to organise administrative steps in Morocco. The practical benefit will depend on how the entire process works, including identity checks, application tracking and the time needed for the document to become available.

What remains unconfirmed

As of November 7, MMNEWS has not directly verified a detailed announcement from the Interior Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry or DGSN setting out this overseas service. Nor has it independently accessed the embassy post cited by the media. This is a limitation of verification, rather than evidence that no official announcement exists.

Exact fees, supporting documents, processing times and collection conditions cannot yet be stated here as settled requirements. The extent of deployment across overseas offices also needs confirmation.

E-Police itself predates this reported development. A DGSN announcement carried by MAP in December 2024 described the platform’s launch for police administrative services within Morocco. That earlier announcement does not establish the new consular arrangements.
